A Seasonal Home Maintenance Checklist That Works

Marcus Webb · March 12, 2026

The cheapest repair is the one you never need. Twice a year, walk your home with this list: test every GFCI outlet, look under every sink with a flashlight, and run each faucet to check water pressure and drainage.

Outside, clean the gutters, check the caulk around windows and doors, and make sure soil slopes away from the foundation. In the fall, bleed radiators and replace furnace filters before the first cold snap.

Keep a simple log with dates and photos. When you do need us, that history helps our technicians diagnose faster, which keeps your bill smaller. And if the list feels like too much, our annual maintenance plan covers the whole walkthrough for you.
